Abstract
Multiple rice body formation is an uncommon inflammatory process. Sometimes it leads to a big mass in unusual locations. Although sometimes associated with bursitis and systemic diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis, the pathophysiology of this rare entity is still obscure. We present a 29-year-old woman with multiple rice body mass formation in the trochanteric bursa of the left hip. She was operated, and had no recurrence at 18 months after the surgery.
Özet
Pirinc tanesi (rice body) oluşumu nadir gorulen inşamatuvar bir hastalıktır. Hastalık bazen buyuk boyutlarda ve atipik yerleşimli olarak oluşabilir. Romatoid artrit gibi sistemik hastalıklar ve bursitlerle birlikte gorulebilmesine ra.men, patofizyolojisi tam olarak bilinmemektedir. Bu yazıda trokanterik bolgede cok sayıda pirinc tanesi oluşumu olan 29 yaşındaki kadın hasta sunulmaktadır. Opere edilen hastanın ameliyat sonrası 18. ay takibinde nuks olmadığı goruldu.
