İLKÖGRETİM 7. SINIF FEN VE TEKNOLOJi DERSiNE AiT BiR UYGULAMA ÇALISMASI: PORTFOLYOBu arastırmanın amacı; ilkögretim 7. sınıf ögrencilerinin Fen ve Teknoloji dersinde yer alan“Maddenin Yapısı ve Özellikleri” ünitesinin portfolyo uygulaması sonucunda ögrencilerin, Fen ve Teknolojidersine karsı hem motivasyonlarını hem de tutumlarını incelemek, ayrıca ögrencilerin portfolyoya iliskingörüslerini de belirlemektir. Bu çalısma, Kargınısıklar lkögretim Okulu’nda ögrenim gören 29 ögrenciyleyapılmıstır. Ögrenciler, ögretmenlerinin ve arastırmacının rehberliginde portfolyo uygulamasıyla dersiislemislerdir. Arastırma, özel durum çalısması yöntemiyle yürütülmüstür. Veriler, uygulama sonundaögrencilerle gerçeklestirilen mülakat, Fen ve Teknoloji tutum ve motivasyon ölçekleriyle elde edilmistir.Ögrencilerin portfolyo hakkındaki görüslerinin alınmasında yarı yapılandırılmıs görüsme formukullanılmıstır. Nitel veriler, betimsel analiz yöntemiyle, nicel veriler ise, SPSS istatistik programıkullanılarak degerlendirilmistir. Arastırmanın sonucunda, portfolyonun, ögrencilerin Fen ve Teknolojidersine karsı motivasyonlarında ve tutumlarında olumlu yönde etkili oldugu gözlenmistir. Motivasyonlarındaanlamlı düzeyde bir farklılık bulunurken, tutularındaki artısın anlamlı düzeyde olmadıgı gözlenmistir. Sonuçolarak, portfolyonun bir degerlendirme aracı olarak sadece Fen ve Teknoloji dersi için degil, aynı zamandadiger dersler için de kullanılması önerilmektedir.PERFORMANCE APPLICATION OF THE 7TH GRADE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY COURSE: PORTFOLIOThe aim of this research is to observe both the attitudes and the motivations of the 7th gradestudents to Science and Technology course after the application of the portfolio practice of the unit “Structureand Features of Matter”, and to define the students’ ideas about portfolio. This research was applied on 29students in Kargınısıklar Primary School. Students studied with the portfolio practice and with the guidanceof their teachers and the researcher. The research was conducted with the case study method. Data wascollected with the Science and Technology attitude and motivation measures and interview with the studentsafter the portfolio practice. While taking the students’ thoughts about portfolio semi-structured interviewform was used. Qualitative data were evaluated with descriptive by analysis method and quantitative datawere evaluated by using the program “Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS)”. At the end of theresearch, it was observed that the portfolio is positively effective for the students’ motivation and attitude toScience and Technology course. It was observed that while there is a meaningful difference in theirmotivation, the increase in their attitude is not at a significant level. Consequently, it is recommended to useportfolio as an assessment tool not only for Science and Technology course, but also for the other courses.
