Abstract
Foreign bodies that are swallowed accidentally and / or due to psychiatric disorders can be seen mostly in childhood, but also in adults. Treatment option for ingested foreign body; it may vary according to the physical properties of the foreign body and its position in the gastrointestinal system. In this case; we will present the clinical picture caused by the ballpoint pen, which is known to have been in the gastrointestinal system for about 10 years in a detailed post-operative anamnesis that constitutes the clinic of acute abdomen.

Yanlışlıkla ve/veya psikiyatrik rahatsızlık nedeniyleyutulan yabancı cisimler, çoğunlukla çocukluk çağındagörülebilmekle beraber yetişkinlerde degörülebilmektedir. Yutulan yabancı cisim için yapılacakolan tedavi seçeneği; cismin fiziksel özelliklerine vegastrointestinal sistemdeki konumuna göredeğişebilmektedir. Bu olgumuzda; akut karın kliniğioluşturan, ameliyat sonrası yapılan ayrıntılı anamnezindeyaklaşık 10 yıldır gastrointestinal sistemde olduğuöğrenilen tükenmez kalemin sebep olduğu klinik tabloyusunacağız.
