Cost calculation in textile mills-woven fabric cost

Abstract

The cost of woven fabric is important as it affects the competition conditions of woven fabric manufacturers with each other. In this study; general information about cost of woven fabric has been given and the relevant equations calculating the cost of fabric have been recommended. Furthermore cost calculation of a specific woven fabric produced in chosen weaving mill has been performed considering the recommended equations and the results obtained have been compared with the data given in literature. It is determined that the calculated values are similar to the data given in literature and the equations given in this study can be used to calculate the cost of a particular type of woven fabric with reasonable confidence.

Dokuma kumaş maliyeti; kumaş üreten işletmelerin rekabet şartlarını doğrudan etkilediği için önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada; dokuma kumaş maliyeti ile ilgili genel bilgi verilmiş, kumaş maliyetinin hesaplanmasına yönelik eşitlikler önerilmiştir. Önerilen eşitlikler kullanılarak seçilmiş bir dokuma işletmesinde üretilmiş olan bir kumaş türü için maliyet hesaplaması yapılmış ve hesaplama sonucu elde edilen değerler; kaynaklarda yer alan bilgilerle karşılaştırılmıştır.Hesaplanan değerlerin kaynaklarda yer alan değerlere çok yakın olduğu belirlenmiş, önerilen eşitliklerin dokuma kumaş maliyeti hesaplamasında kullanılabilir olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
