A performans analysis on denim fabrics I-fabric strength and abrasion resistance

Abstract
In this study, tensile strength, tear strength and abrasion resistance were examined as they are important quality parameters for woven fabrics; with the relation to the weaving construction, raw material, and production process of weft yarn; in order to evaluate the denim fabric performances. For this purpose, denim fabrics in different properties were tested according to standards and the obtained results were presented.

Bu çalışmada denim kumaş kalitesini etkileyen performans özelliklerinden kopma mukavemeti, yırtılma mukavemeti ve aşınma dayanımı incelenmiş ve doku yapısı, hammadde ve atkı ipliği üretim şeklinin söz konusu performans özelliklerine etkisi belirlenmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu amaçla farklı özelliklerdeki denim kumaşlara standartlara uygun olarak bu testler uygulanarak, test sonuçları değerlendirilmiştir
