Abstract
The success of prosthetic restorations which aims function, phonation and esthetic are evaluated with harmony on surrounding tissues. In prosthetic rehabilitation, protecting exist balance is important as much as the new restorations. In order to evaluate the changes and reasons of oral flora, first defense mechanism and flora in oral cavity must be known.

Amacı fonksiyon, fonasyon ve estetik olan protetik restorasyonların başarısı çevre dokulara uyuntuyla birlikte değerlendirilir. Protetik restorasyonlarda yeni kazanımlar kadar varolan dengeyi bozmamakta önemlidir. Oral floradaki değişiklikleri ve nedenlerini değerlendirebilmek için öncelikle oral kavitedeki flora ve savunma mekanizmalarım bilmek gerekir.
