Behçet disease in childhood: A case with severe ocular manifestations

Abstract
Behçet's disease, a multisystem disorder originally descri-bed as recurrent oral and genital ulcerations with relap-sing iritis or uveitis, is often characterized by cutaneous, arthritic, neurologic, vascular, and gastrointestinal mani-festations. A 9 year old boy presented with recurrent oral laceration, erythema nodosum and transient blindness. Behçet's disease with severe ocular manifestations, in childhood is reported.
Özet
Behçet Hastalığı, tekrarlayan oral ve genital ülserler, üveit, deri lezyonlan, artrit, gastrointestinal ve merkezi sinir sistemine ait bulgular ile seyreden multisistemik bir hastalıktır. Dokuz yaşında erkek hasta kliniğimize 2 yıldır tekrarlayan oral aftlar, eritema nodosum, gözlerde kanlanma ve kısa süreli görme kaybı ile başvurdu. Bu makalede çocukluk çağında ağır göz tutulumu ile giden Behçet hastalığı vakası sunulmuştur.
