Extramedullary plasmacytoma of the nose and paranasal sinuses

Abstract
Extramedullary plasmocytoma is a rare form of plasma cell neoplasias usually involving upper air way tract. It is important to differentiate whether extramedullary plasmocytoma is solitary or a component of a systemic form since the prognosis of the solitary form is better. In this paper two cases of this rare pathology and a review of literature is reported.

Exstrameduller plazmasitom oldukça nadir olarak karşılaşılan bir plazma hücre neoplazisidir ve sıklıkla üst solunum yolunu tutar.Tanısında sistemik bir plazma hücre diskrazisinin komponenti olup olmadığı ayırd edilmelidir çünkü ekstrameduller plazmositom multiple meloma göre daha iyi pro gnaza sahiptir. Bu makalede son bir yıl içinde görülen nazal kavite ve paranazal sinüs yerleşimli iki EMP olgusu ve bu başlık altında literatür gözden geçirilmiştir.
