Abstract
Sudden hearing loss is a clinical entity which has very common etiologies. In case where the etiology is not determined, the evaluation and treatment of sudden hearing loss are very difficult. In this paper, two patients with sudden hearing loss caused by multiple sclerosis and acoustic neuroma are presented. Especially, the importance of scope of the evaluation concerning the etiology, and the va¬lue of electronystagmography (ENG) and auditory brainstem response (ABR) methods in the diagnosis of this disease are stressed.
