Early glottic carcinoma

Abstract
We reviewed the records of 21 patients with glottic carcinoma who we surgically treated in the last 3 years. Two of these patients patients were treated by total laryngectomy whereas 19 had a vertical partial laryngectomy (VPL) or laryngofissure via cordectomy. Laryngoplastic procedures were used in reconstruction of surgical defects of VPL resection in glottic carcinoma.The minimum follow-up period was 3 months and the maximum was 30 months. No patients died oflocore-gional disease.

Bu çalışmada, 1994-1997 yılları arasında cerrahi tedavi gören glottik tümörlü 21 olgu incelendi.. İki hastaya total larenjektomi (TL) yapılırken kalan 19 hastaya'vertılcâl parsiyel larenjektomi veya laringofissür ile kordektomi uygulandı. Glottik bölgede cerrahi sonrası ortaya çıkan defektler laringoplastik prosedürlerle kapatıldı. Hastalar enaz 3 ay, en fazla 30 ay takip edildiler. Lokal veya boyun nüksünden ölen hastamız olmadı.
