The mandibular keratocyst

Abstract
Odontogenic keratocyst is a benign inraosseous lesion of jaws with a high recurrence potential. Its standart tre¬atment is surgical enucleation and curretage. In this paper a case of a recurrent madibular keratocyst which had been trea¬ted with curretage two times, is presented. The definitive treatment modality consisted of segmental mandibular resection and reconstruction using a vascularized bone graft is discussed.

Odontojenik keratokist çene kemiklerinin yüksek rekürrens potansiyeline sahip iyi huylu bir intraosseöz lezyonu olup tedavisinde klasik olarak enükleasyon ve küretaj uygulanmaktadır. Bu yazıda iki kez küretaj uygulanmış bir rekürren mandi¬bular odontojenik keratokist olgusu sunulmuş, kesin tedavi için uygulanan segmental mandibula rezeksiyonu ve vaskülarize kemik grefti ile onarım yöntemi tartışılmıştır.
