Abstract
Laryngeal electromyography (LEMG) is an objective tool which plays an important role in de¬termining the prognosis of the laryngeal paralysis and describing the neuromuscular dysfuntcion of the intrinsic laryngeal muscles. In this study; the technque, results and the effect of the prognostic data on the treatment are diçussed in 25 patients who underwent LEMG. The results emphasized the importance of LEMG in the diagnosi and treatment of the laryngeal paralysis.

Larengeal elektromiyografi (LEMG); larengeal paralizüerin prognozlarvnvn tayininde ve intrinsik larenks. kaslarının nöromüskûlar disfonksiyonhxruiin tanınmasında önemli rol oynayan objektif bir tanı yöntemidir. Bu çalışmada LEMG uygulanan 25 hastada, uygulama tekniği sonuçlar ve elde edilen prog-nostik verilerin tedavi üzerindeki etkinliği tartışılmıştır. Sonuçlar, LEMG'nin larengeal paralizüerin tanı ve tedavisindeki önemini ortaya koymuştur.
