Endoscopic sinus surgery for the treatment of difficult cases

Abstract
Endoscopic sinüs surgery is a surgical techinque used for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the para¬nasal sinuses, endoscopic sinüs surgery indications are derived from a combined assesment of the patient's history, diagnos¬tic endoscopy and coronal paranasal sinus computed tomography. Here we presented 3 specific cases and evaluated the indi¬cation range of endoscopic sinus surgery for these sort of cases.

Endoskopik sinüs cerrahisi paranazal sinüslerin enflamatuar hastalıklarının tedavisinde uygulanan cerrahi bir tek¬niktir, endoskopik cerrahi endikasyonu hasta hikayesi, endoskopik muayene ve paranazal sinüslerin koronal planda bilgisa¬yarlı tomografisi birlikte değerlendirilerek konulmalıdır. Burada üç olgu nedeniyle sorunlu olgularda endoskopik sinüs cer¬rahisinin endikasyonları tartışılacaktır.
