The use of the paramedian forehead flap for nose reconstruction: A case report

Abstract
Forehead flap could be a treatment of choice because of similarity to the nose skin with high vascularitv, structural similarity, and excellent color match to the nose and allowing the closure of the even large defects of the nose. The paramedian forehead flaps having vascular supply from a supratroklear artery have been getting more popular with high viability and good cosmetic results. A case of paramedian flap reconstruction of a nose defect following excision of basal carcinoma was reported in this article. Surgical technique, indi-cations and advantages of the procedure were alsa discussed.

Alın flebi, geniş defektlerin kapatılmasrna olanak vermesi, yüksek vaskülaritesi, yapı bakımından burun cildine benzerliği ve mükemmel renk uyumu nedeniyle burun rekonstrüksiyonu için ideal bir seçim oluşutmaktadır. Tek taraflı supratroklear arter kullanılarak hazırlanan paramedian alin flebinin Yüksek başarı şansı ve iyi kozmelik sonuçları dolayisiyla son yıllarda popülaritesi giderek artmaktadir. Makalede, burundan bazal karsinoma eksizyonu sonrasırıda oluşan defektin paramedian alın flebiyle rekonstrüksiyonu yapılmış olan bir vaka sunulmustur. Vaka takdimi dolayisiyla ameliyatın cerrahi tekniği, endikasyonları ve avantajları tartışılmıştır
