Paranasal sinus osteomas

Abstract
Osteoma is the most common benign tumor of the paranasal sinuses, and the frontal sinus is its most frequent location. They are slowly growing and well-defined tumor, and found in 1% routine sinus radiographs. Twelve patients with an osteoma of the frontal, etmoid or maxillary sinuses have been studied and 10 cases treated surgically. The presenting symptoms of tumor this tumor, patient examination, radiographie evaluation, diagnosis and surgical management are discussed.
Özet
Osteomlar paranazal sinüslerin sık görülen benign tümörleridir ve frontal sinüs en fazla etkilenen bölgedir. Bunlar yavaş büyüyen, iyi sınırlı tümörlerdir ve rutin sinüs grafisinde %1 oranında bulunurlar. Frontal, etmoid ve maksiller sinüsde osteom tespit edilen ve 10 tanesine cerrahi tedavi uygulanan 12 hasta incelenmiştir. Bu tümörlerin semptomları, hastaların kliniği, radyolojik bulguları, tanısı ve cerrahi tedavileri tartışılmıştır.
