Nasal dorsal glabellar flap in the treatment of nasal tip defects

Abstract
As nose is one of the most prominent structures of the face due to its anatomical feature, it is frequently subjected to trauma and skin cancers. Multiple aesthetic subunits, convexity and concavity make the reconstruction of nose more difficult. The defects of the nose that are over 1.5 cm must be repaired with complex flaps and grafts. In this article, we present a 58-yearold male case treated with nasal dorsal glabellar flap which has more satisfactory aesthetic results and less complication rates in repairing large defects.

Yüzde göze en çok çarpan yapılardan biri olan burnun anatomik özelliği nedeniyle burunda travmaya ve cilt kanserlerine sık rastlanır. Multipl estetik subüniteleri, konveksiteleri ve konkaviteleri burun rekonstrüksiyonunu güçleştirmektedir. Bir buçuk santimetrenin üstündeki burun defektleri kompleks flepler veya greftler ile onarılmalıdır. Bu yazıda geniş defekt onarımında estetik açıdan daha olumlu, komplikasyon açısından daha düşük riskli olan nazal dorsal glabellar flebi uyguladığımız 58 yaşında bir erkek olgu sunuldu.
