Abstract
This article is just a contribution to the extensive literature on the main theme of Gombrowicz's works: The Form. Gombrowicz sees the basis of the human's motion, in other words, his self-realization in an incessant struggle among the people for their own Forms by imposing them upon themselves. This is the painful struggle of the subject to not to be turned into an object for the other: "I have come to the conclusion that my "I" is solely based on my will of being myself. I do not know who I am, but I suffer when I am staying distorted, that's all." He notes that, unlike Sartre, being could not be based on consciousness, since it raises "between us, rather than from us." Being is based on struggle.
