Abstract
The article whose translation is presented here deals with the relation of Heidegger thought with Asian philosophy. There's a general opinion that Heidegger -especially in later thought- is influenced by Far East thought and teachings. In this article, Bret W. Davis problematizes this opinion and sets forth its right and wrong sides. Especially through the concept of "nothingness", he examines the relation of Heidegger thought with Zen and tries to clarify both Heidegger's late philosophy and Zen.
