Theodor W. Adorno: Sürgünden Barışmaya

Abstract

This essay is written in honour of T.W. Adorno's 100th anniversary of his birth. It focuses upon persons and places in relation to his exile and reconciliation. The thesis of the essay is as follows: The process from exile to reconciliation had its analogous development, in Adorno's philosophy, that can be described as, from identity to non-identity, better known in his philosophy language, namely negative dialectics. This specific type of dialectics reflects the experience of exile and permitted Adorno to return to German in terms of reconciliation.

Bu deneme T.W. Adorno'nun 100. doğum yıl dönümü şerefine kaleme alınmıştır. Odağında da Adorno'nun sürgündeki ve memleketine döndükten sonraki yıllarıyla ilişkili kişiler ile yerler bulunmaktadır. Sürgünden barışmaya uzanan süreç, Adorno'nun felsefesinde rastladığımız ve kendi felsefe terminolojisiyle 'olumsuz diyalektik' diye bilinen 'özdeşlikten özdeş-olmayana' doğru gelişime koşutluk arz eder. Bu özgül diyalektik tipi, sürgün deneyimini yansıttığı gibi Adorno'nun Almanya'ya dönüşünü de 'barışma' olarak anlamaya imkan verir.
