Abstract
Reformation, according to Whitehead, is a case which appears in the conflict between on one hand ongoing diminishment of the faith in dogmas and the confidence in church and on the other the surge of the emphasis on God's being sound, full of love and innate in every creature. Within this frame, first of the giost important causes of the reform movement that Whitehead looks for and tries to found is the need for religion's (Christianity) philosophic and metaphysic foundations' to be restructered again; second, is the structure of church as an institution and the situation of Jesus and third is the critics of static form of dogmas which constitutes roots of Christianity. According to him, religion is the rational one and represents common principles for whole humanity. In this context, Christianity criticisms and alternative approaches Whitehead presented in terms of reform will be investigated throughout the article.
