Abstract

This essay is focused on the concept of "mediative thinking" by Martin Heidegger in the field of architecture. Two concepts that are used to look for traces of "mediative thinking" in architecture are; "being" and "Dasein" which is derived from "being" and means "the man who questions being". The correlation between Dasein, the world and the responses to the experience of Dasein in architectural design theory are to be examined and the traces of "mediative thinking" in built environment are to be questioned in this article. Hence, there are studies pointing out to the common ground between the concept of "mediative thinking" and Louis Kahn's work

Bu makalede Martin Heidegger tarafından ortaya atılmış "sahici düşünce" kavramının mimarlıktaki izleri araştırılmaktadır. Bunun için, sahici düşünce kavramının ortaya çıkmasına olanak tanıyan öncül kavramlar "Varlık" ve "Dasein" üzerinde durulmaktadır. Dasein ve içinde bulunduğu dünyayı deneyimleme biçimi irdelenmiş, mimari tasarım kuramında karşılığı aranmıştır ve yapılı çevredeki varlığı sorgulanmıştır. Bunun yolu olarak da Louis Kahn'ın düşüncelerinden faydalanılmıştır
