THE RELATION BETWEEN THEORY AND PRACTICE IN THE CONTEXT OF PRACTICAL ARTS IN ARISTOTELIAN SYSTEM

Abstract

At the top of the Aristotelian classification of science stands metaphysics which deals with pure forms (God, form of species, celestial beings, and intuitive mind) with pure causes and first principles. Beneath it, there is mathematics investigating objects which don’t move and cannot exist separately from the primary substances. Physics, which can be called as ”metaphysics of nature”, deals with the primary objects that carry the principle of motion in itself and the forms that can’t exist separately from the matter as a priori. Productive arts flows these three theoretical sciences. The productive arts have the practical component based on experience and the theoretical component based on finally the principles of physics. The same thing is valid for the practical arts. Their practical components are based on experience and their theoretical components are based on the principles of the politics which use theories of physics as model. This article attempts to explain the rule for the relationship among politics, practical arts and physics.

Aristotelesçi bilimler sınıflandırmasının en tepesinde, saf nedenler ve ilk ilkeler-le birlikte saf formları (Tanrı, türsel form, göksel varlıklar ve görüsel akıl) elealan metafizik durur. Onun altında hareket etmeyen ve birincil tözlerden ayrı varolamayan nesneleri inceleyen matematik vardır. Bir “doğa metafiziği” olarakadlandırılabilecek fizik bilimi ise hareketin ilkesini kendisinde taşıyan birinciltözleri ve maddeden ayrı var olamayan formları a priori olarak ele alır. Bu üç te-orik bilimi üretici sanatlar takip eder. Üretici sanatlar ise deneyime dayanan pra-tik bileşene ve en nihayetinde fiziğin ilkelerine dayanan teorik bileşene sahiptir.Aynı şey pratik sanatlar için de geçerlidir. Onların pratik bileşenleri deneyime,teorik bileşenleri ise, kendisine fiziğin teorilerini model alan politikanın ilke-lerine dayanır. Bu makale politika, pratik sanatlar ve fizik arasındaki ilişkininkurallılığını açıklamaya çalışmaktadır.
