Abstract
Osteosarcomas of the head and neck are rare tumors. Adequate surgical resection is the mainstay of treatment. In this report, we present four patients (2 females, 2 males; mean age 32 years) with osteosarcoma of the head and neck. All patients received combined treatment modality (surgery, chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy). One patient died because of local recurrence, intracranial and bone metastasis thirteen months after diagnosis. Another patient with mandibular osteosarcoma died from pulmonary metastasis seventeen months after diagnosis.
