Koldaki dev lipom içine gömülmüş primer miksoid liposarkom (Olgu sunumu)

Abstract

Liposarcoma certainly represents a group of mesenchymal tumors of adult life in which morphologic heterogeneity appears to be really striking. Only 5% of all liposarcomas occur in men at the arm. Presentation of the tumor with lipoma is even more unusual. Liposarcoma originating in the giant lipoma cause special diagnostic and therapeutic difficulties. A myxoid liposarcoma of the arm in a 64 year old man is reported. The tumor was buried for 4 years by the 19x22x16 cm lipoma. Definitive diagnosis was established by the pathologic examination when total excision of the lipoma was performed. According to our knowledge this is the first report in the English language literature.

Özet

Liposarkomlar erişkin hayatta görülen morfolojik açıdan çarpıcı heterojenite gösteren bir mezenkimal tümör grubudur. Erkeklerde görülen tüm liposarkomlarm sadece % 5'i kolda görülür. Tümörün lipom ile birlikte görülmesi daha da enderdir. Dev lipomdan kaynaklanan liposarkomlarm tanısı ve tedavisi çeşitli güçlükler içerir. Kolunda miksoid liposarkomu olan 64 yaşında bir erkek hasta bildirilmiştir. Hastanın miksoid liposarkomu 19x22x16 cm. boyutlarındaki lipom içinde dört yıl boyunca fark edilmeden kalmıştır. Kesin tanı lipomun total eksizyonundan sonra patolojik inceleme sonrasında konulmuştur. Bizim bildiğimiz kadarı ile dev lipom içinde gizlenmiş miksoid liposarkom İngilizce literatürde bildirilen ilk olgudur.
