Abstract
Lymphangiomas are rare benign tumours, and most commonly found in the neck and skin. Occasionally they may occur in the gastrointestinal tract. The presence of a lymphangioma in the small bowel mesentery is extremely rare. Most cases are asymptomatic, except when complicated. Complications includes volvulus, intestinal obstruction, infarction, perforation, and hemorrhage. We presented an unusual case of small bowel obstruction and metachronous inguinal hernia caused by benign lymphangioma in a child.
Özet
Lenfangiomalar nadir tümörlerdir, boyun ve ciltte daha sık bulunurlar. Arasıra gastrointestinal traktusda meydana gelebilirler. İnce barsak mezenterinde son derece nadirdir. Komplike olduğu zaman hariç çoğu vakalar asemptomatiktir. Komplikasyonları volvulus, intestinal obtruksiyon, perforasyon, infaktüs ve hemorajidir. Biz bir çocukta metakron inguinal herni ve intestinal obtruksiyona neden olan alışılmamış bir lenfangioma vakasını sunduk.
