Professional Attitude and Behaviors of Pesticide Dealers and their Observations About Producers in Salihli and Sarıgöl Districts of Manisa Province

Manisa İli Salihli ve Sarıgöl İlçelerindeki Zirai İlaç Bayilerinin Mesleki Tutum ve Davranışları ve Üreticiler ile İlgili Gözlemleri

Abstract

The aim of this study, which was conducted in widespread vineyards of Salihli and Sarıgöl districts of Manisa province in 2018, was to determine attitude and behaviors of pesticide dealers and their plant protection related issues. A survey was carried out with 57 pesticide dealers belonging to these districts. Of all pesticide dealers, 57.9% stated that they had difficulty in discriminating between the deficiency and disease symptoms of the plant nutrients while 42.1% of them stated that they benefited from the Internet to get information about the pesticides. It is noted that the most crucial problems of the 89.5% of pesticide dealers were varying discount rates and credit periods of the firms in selling crop protection products. Dealers were found to mostly sell fungicides (72.1%). It was determined that the most significant sales were against powdery mildew (21.6%) and downy mildew (20.4%) diseases in vineyards. Also, 98.2% of the pesticide dealers recommended pesticides according to the label doses. In addition, 89.5% of pesticide dealers stated that the producers paid attention to the recommended pesticide dose. As a result of the study, the findings were evaluated and suggestions were made.

Manisa ilinin Salihli ve Sarıgöl ilçelerinde 2018 yılında yapılan buçalışmada, bağcılığın yoğun olarak yapıldığı bu ilçelerdeki zirai ilaçbayilerinin bitki koruma ile ilgili mesleki tutum ve davranışlarınınbelirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu ilçelere ait 57 zirai ilaç bayisi ileanket çalışması yapılmıştır Bayilerin %57.9’u, bitki besinelementlerinin eksikliği ile hastalık belirtilerinin teşhisi konusundasorun yaşadığını belirtmiş, %42.1’i ise pestisitler ile ilgili bilgieksikliğini gidermede İnternet ortamından faydalandıklarınıbelirtmişlerdir. İlaç bayilerinin %89.5’inin bitki koruma ürünleritemininde karşılaştığı en önemli sorunun, firmaların bayilere farklıiskonto oranı ve vade periyotları olduğu kaydedilmiştir. İlaçbayilerinin en fazla satışını yaptıkları pestisitin fungisitler (%72.1)olduğu tespit edilmiştir. En fazla fungisit satışının bağ küllemesi(%21.6) ve bağ mildiyösü (%20.4)’ne karşı yapıldığı belirlenmiştir.Bayilerin %98.2’sinin etiket dozuna göre pestisit önerisindebulunduğu belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte, bayilerin %89.5’iüreticilerin önerilen dozu dikkate aldığını ifade etmiştir. Çalışmasonucunda, elde edilen bulgular değerlendirilmiş ve önerilerdebulunulmuştur.
