Anatomical and Morphological Aspects of The Taxa Belonging to Biarum Schott (Araceae Juss.) Genus, Which Shows Natural Distrıbution in Şanlıurfa Region

Şanlıurfa Yöresinde Doğal Yayılış Gösteren Biarum Schott (Araceae Juss.) Cinsine Ait Taksonların Anatomik ve Morfolojik Yönden İncelenmesi

Abstract

In this study, the morphological and anatomical features of the Biarum aleppicum J.Thiébaut, B. carduchorum (Schott) Engl and B. bovei Blume species belonging to the Araceae family distributed naturally in Şanlıurfa were investigated. The morphological measurements of our study compared with the 'Illustrated Flora of Turkey 'and' the Flora of Turkey. As a result of this comparison, some differences were found in the case of tuber, petiole, leaf blade, spata and sterile flower. The root, scapa and leaf anatomy of the taxa were investigated. In this study, xylem arms, which form the conduction bundles of the root, are polyarch in all three types. Biarum bovei 7-8, B. carduchorum 8-9, and B. aleppicum 5-6 arms.

Özet

Bu çalışmada, Şanlıurfa’da doğal yayılış gösteren Araceae Juss.familyasının Biarum Schott cinsine ait Biarum aleppicum J.Thiébaut,B. carduchorum (Schott) Engl., ve B. bovei Blume türlerininmorfolojik ve anatomik özellikleri incelenmiştir. Tarafımızdanyapılan morfolojik ölçümler ‘Resimli Türkiye Florası’ ve ‘Flora ofTurkey’ ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Bu karşılaştırma sonucunda tuber,yaprak sapı, yaprak ayası, spata ve steril çiçeğin durumunda bazıfarklılıkların olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Taksonların kök, skapa veyaprak anatomileri incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada kökün iletimdemetlerini oluşturan ksilem kolları her üç türde de poliarktır.Biarum bovei’de 7-8, B. carduchorum’da 8-9, B. aleppicum’da 5-6kolludur.
