Abstract

Gronblad-Strandberg syndrome refers to the coexistence of angioid streaks (AS) and pseudoxanthoma elasticum (PXE). In this report we present a pa¬tient with Gronblad-Strandberg syndrome, who attended to our outpatient clinic with decreased vision. He was found to have AS in his fundoscopic ex¬amination and PXE in systemic examination. Screening for the disease in im¬mediate family members revealed existence of this syndrome in one of his family members.

Angioid streaks (AS) ve pseudoksantoma elastikumun (FXE) birlikteliği Grönblad-Strandberg sendromu olarak tarif edilir. Makalemizde, görme azlığı şikayetiyle kliniğimize başvuran, f undoskopik inceleme sonucunda angioid streaks saptanmış, sistemik incelemeyle PXE teşhis edilmiş ve ya¬pılan taramada aile bireylerinden birinde de hastalığın varlığı ortaya çıka¬rılmış Grönblad -Strandberg sendromlu bir olgu sunmaktayız.
