The general evaluation of the diseases of the animals brought to the Internal Disease Clinic of the Veterinary Collage in Yuzuncu Yil University from Van and its region during 1992-1997 years

Abstract
Between years of 1992-1997, 2262 animals have been brought into the Department of Internal Disease of Veterinary Collage in Yüzüncü Yıl University. Distribution of these animals for months and years, species and diagnosed systemic disease were evaluated. The largest among brought animal during 5 years period was cultured mature cows, the lowest of that amount was horse. The most of the patients were brought during March and least were during August months, the most of the treatment has made in 1995 comparing the years. Digestive system diseases (57.1%) were the highest comparing to the diagnosed diseases. Forestomach diseases, enterites, endoparasitic, bacterial and viral diseases were the most apparent digestive system diseases. The other diagnosed system diseases were respiratory system diseases (21.1%), metabolic diseases (3.7%), skin diseases (3.3%), cardiovasculer system diseases (3.1%), nerve system diseases (2.5%), blood and blood-forming organ diseases (2.3%), poisonings (2.2%), zoonozis (2.1%) urinary system diseases (0.8%) and the other diseases (1.8%) respectively.

Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi İç Hastalıklar Kliniğine 01.04.1992 - 31.03.1997 tarihleri arasında 2262 hayvan getirilmiştir. Bu hayvanların ay ve yıllara, türlere ve saptanan hastalıklarının ait oldukları sistemlere göre dağılımları belirlenmiştir. Beş yıllık sürede getirilen hayvanların çoğunluğunu kültür ırkı inek başta olmak üzere ergin sığır, en azını ise at oluşturmuştur. En fazla hastanın Mart, en az hastanın Ağustos aylarında getirildiği ve 1995 yılında en çok hastanın muayene ve tedavi edildiği saptanmıştır. Sindirim sistemi hastalıklarının (%57.1) diğer tüm sistem hastalıklarından daha fazla görüldüğü, bunların içinde de ön mide hastalıkları, endoparaziter hastalıklar, enteritisler, bakteriyel ve viral hastalıkların önde geldiği görülmüştür. Bunu sırasıyla solunum (%21.1), metabolizma (%3.7), deri (%3.3), dolaşım (%3.1), sinir (%2.5), kan ve kan yapan organ hastalıkları (%2.3), zehirlenmeler (%2.2), zoonozlar (%2.1), diğerleri (%1.8) ve üriner sistem (%0.8) hastalıklarının izlediği belirlenmiştir.
