Abstract
In this study, 20 dogs which have different ages and weights were used. Halothane and Enflurane anaesthetic substances were employed. The bloods were drawn and the ECG's were taken from the animals before and during the anaesthesia. Total protein, glucose, urea, creatmme, SGOT, SGPT, red blood cells, hemoglobine, hematoente and sedimentation rate were determined from the blood. Glucose levels significantly increased (p<0.001 ) the Halothane-exposed group during the anaesthesia in comparison with that before the application while the increase in the Enflurane-exposed group was smaller than those of the Halothane-exposed group (p<0.01). All waves were observed in all derivations. In the Halothane-exposed group during the anaesthesia were found the existence of sino-oricular blocage.
