A case of small cell carcinoma of urethra and urinary bladder

Abstract
Small cell carcinoma originating in the urinary system is very rare and it is more often seen in the bladder or prostate. It is an highly agressive tumor and the life expectancy of the patient is usually very poor. To date two cases of primary urethral small cell carcinoma have been reported in the literature. Here, a new case is presented and reviewed in light of the literature.
Özet
Üriner sistemden kaynaklanan küçük hücreli karsinom çok enderdir ve daha çok mesane ile prostatta görülmektedir. Bu tümör çok agresif seyirlidir ve hastaların yaşam süresi uzun değildir. Literatürde bugüne kadar iki primer üretra küçük hücreli karsinom olgusu yayımlanmıştır. Burada, yeni bir olgu sunulmuş ve literatür bilgileri eşliğinde tartışılmıştır.
