Metachronous transitional cell carcinoma of the whole urinary tract

Abstract
Metachronous Trctnsitional Cell Carcinoma Of The Whole Urinary Tract-Recurrences of transitional cell cancer in the upper urinary tract following initial diagnosis of bladder cancer is rare. We herein report a case of transitional carcinoma of the bladder who later developed metachronous transitional cell tumors in the whole urinary system. In addition, risk factors that predict recurrences hi the upper tract and use of diagnostic tools for early diagnosis in the long term followup of such patients were also discussed.

Mesane tranzisyonef hucreli karsinomu tamsiyla izlenen hastalarda ust uriner sistemde tranzisyonel hucreli karsinom nuksu gozienmesi oldukca enderdir. Bu yazida, mesane tranzisyonel hucreli karsinom tamsi aldiktan sonra turn urinersistem'inde ayri zamanli olaraktranzisyonel hucreli karsinom gelisen bir hasta sunulmustur. Aynca, ust uriner sistemde yuksek nuks riskini belirleyen faktorler ve bu hastalarda uzun donem izlemde tani yontemlerinin erken tani amacli kullanimi tartisilmistir.
