Öz In this article first of all mention of kyrgyzs ethnonym is analyzed. Famous scientists-sinologists pointed that the term which is registered in the form “Gegun” is the Kyrgyz ethnonym. But, scientists do not arrive at a common opinion about the time of mention of Kyrgyzs and they place of their inhabitance.
