Abstract

Hepatitis A is an acute viral infection, which is generally seen among school-age children and young adults. In adult patients, its clinical course is more severe and may cause serious complications. Personal contact is very considerable among the fecal-oral contagious disease. Hepatitis A studies after a contact history were not established in the Turkish literature, so this report was distinguished to present.

Özet

Hepatit A, genellikle okul çağı çocuklarında ve genç erişkinlerde görülen akut viral bir infeksiyon hastalığıdır. Özellikle erişkin olgularda daha ağır seyreder ve isten-meyen yan etkilere neden olabilir. Oral-fekal yolla bula-şan hastalıkta kişisel temas çok önemlidir. Türkçe litera-tür taramalarında temas sonrası gelişen hepatit A çalış-malarına rastlanmadığı için, bu rapor sunulmaya değer bulunmuştur.
