THE MODERN LIFE CRITISISM WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF INTERTEXTUALITY ON HÜSREV HATEMİ’S “DAĞITMIŞ GAZEL” POEM

HÜSREV HATEMİ’NİN “DAĞITMIŞ GAZEL” ŞİİRİNDE METİNLERARASILIK BAĞLAMINDA MODERN HAYAT ELEŞTİRİSİ

Abstract

Hüsrev Hatemi draw attention in the literature field by his poem and essay books alongside his real job as medical doctor. He grew up in an intellectual social circle, in consecuence of the current years he lived, he witnessed the changing conditions in life personally. Hüsrev Hatemi not be unconcerned toTurkish society’s modernity processand concentrate upon this subject in his poems and essays. It is possible to observe the reflection of the social upheaveland his critics towards this condition in his literal work. “Dağıtmış Gazel” poem is one of the most remarkable one as the critisizm to our social changing. The poem starts with Fuzuli, continue with Nedim, Ziya Paşa, Ahmet Haşim and be over with Yahya Kemal. It is possible to follow the traces of changing of life and literature step by step in this poem. Evaluating the work by the context of intertextuality, it is seem that the poet demolishes the reference textsand reconstruct by unite together with his work. The reference texts in a harmony, be placed in the poem as a parts of corruption and makes feel there the readers the condition is getting worse. By accepting the poem as two faces mirror, it incorporates both the literaland social changes as a whole. In this work, we will try to feature the Hüsrev Hatemi’s unknown literalaspect. Then by taking the “Dağıtmış Gazel” poem to center of the work, refering the poet’s other poems and essays, we will try to touch on the Hüsrev Hatemi’s thoughts about social changing and modernity process.

Özet

Esasen tıp doktoru olan Hüsrev Hatemi, yazdığı şiir ve deneme kitaplarıyla edebiyat sahasında dikkat çeken isimlerden birisidir. İstanbul’da, entelektüel bir çevrede yetişen şair, yaşadığı yıllar hasebiyle değişen hayata bizzat şahitlik yapar. Türk milletinin içinden geçtiği modernleşme sürecine kayıtsız kalmayan Hüsrev Hatemi, şiirlerinde ve denemelerinde bu konu üzerinde yoğunlaşır. Kaleme aldığı eserlerinde toplumsal değişimin yansımasını, bu değişime yönelik eleştirilerini görmek mümkündür. “Dağıtmış Gazel” şiiri de şairin toplumsal değişim maceramıza eleştirel bir tavırla yaklaştığı en dikkat çekici metinlerindendir. Fuzûlî ile başlayan şiir, Nedim, Enderunlu Vâsıf, Ziya Paşa, Ahmet Haşim ile devam eder ve nihayet Yahya Kemal ile sonlanır. Bu şiirde edebiyatın değişimiyle hayatın değişiminin izlerini kademe kademe sürme imkânı vardır. Eseri metinlerarasılık bağlamında değerlendirdiğimizde, şairin şiirde göndermede bulunduğu metinleri yıktığı ve kendi metninin bir unsuru hâline getirerek yeniden inşa ettiği görülür. Alıntılanan metinler uyum içinde, bir yozlaşmanın bölümleri gibi şiire yerleştirilir ve giderek kötüye giden bir hâl okuyucuya hissettirilir. Metin iki yönlü bir ayna gibi kabul edilirse hem edebî hem de toplumsal değişimi bir bütün olarak bünyesinde barındırır. Bu çalışmada, önce metinlerarasılık kavramı üzerinde durmaya çalışacağız. Ardından, özellikle “Dağıtmış Gazel” şiirini merkeze alarak –diğer şiirleri ve düzyazılarından da yararlanarak– şairin toplumsal değişim ve modernleşme sürecine yönelik düşüncelerini ele alacağız.
