A FORMATIVE STRUCTURALIST ANALYSIS ON KEMAL TAHİRS DUPLICATIONS SAĞIRDERE AND KÖRDUMAN

Abstract
Formative-structuralistic method, which see the literary work as the product of political, social and cultural conditions, formed a sociologic approach especially for novel review. This approach, which see the novels as a sociologic document, stipulates the review of the works in two basic phases which are unders- tanding and explanation. This review method has developed different perspectives and review standarts for the examination of historical novels which represent a period and include political and social themes. When this method is applied to Sağırdere and Körduman, which are Kemal Tahirs novels and were written in a period when the novels that mention village were popular in Turkish literature, it is concluded that the author handles the themes in a broad sense with a historical and social base. In this novels, the author aims to reflect the social structures and relations altogether from characters to places and from themes to construct. For this reason, these novels, which form the reduplication, successfully reflect the social events, cases and problems sociologically. In order to show the extent of this reflection, these two novels will be reviewed from the point of formative- structuralistic method in this article.

Edebiyat yapıtını siyasal, toplumsal ve kültürel şartların ürünü olarak gören oluşumsal-yapısalcı yöntem, özellikle de roman incelemesine sosyolojik bir yak- laşım tarzı getirmiştir. Romanları sosyolojik bir belge olarak gören bu yaklaşım, yapıtların anlama ve açıklama olmak üzere iki temel aşamada incelenmesini ön- görmüştür. Bu inceleme yöntemi, siyasal ve sosyal temalara yer veren, bir dönemi anlatan tarihsel romanların incelenmesine yönelik farklı bakış açıları ve inceleme ölçütleri geliştirmiştir. Bu yöntem, Türk edebiyatında köy konulu romanların popüler olduğu bir devrede Kemal Tahir tarafından kaleme alınan Sağırdere ve Körduman adlı romanlara uygulandığında, yazarın ele aldığı konuları çok geniş bir bakış açısıyla tarihsel ve toplumsal bir zemin üzerinden işlediği sonucunu ortaya çıkarır. Bu romanlarda yazar kişilerden mekâna, temalardan kurguya kadar toplumsal yapı ve ilişkileri bütünüyle yansıtma amacı gütmüştür. Bu yüzden de ikilemeyi oluşturan bu romanlar, ele aldığı toplumsal olayları, durum ve sorunları sosyolojik yönden başarılı bir şekilde yansıtmıştır. Bu yansımanın boyutlarını göstermek için bu makalede, bu iki roman oluşumsal-yapısalcı yöntem açısından incelenmeye çalışılacaktır.
