Abstract
Memet Baydur in his play called Limon enables to look at the intellectual problem after coup d’etat from a different point of view with the technique of “play within play”. In this two-act play in which language use and theatre traditions are made use of as well as the technical characteristics, we are witnessing the misunderstanding of the phenomenon of becoming an individual and perception of it as an escape from the responsibilities.

Memet Baydur, Limon adlı oyununda “oyun içinde oyun tekniği” ile askeri darbe sonrası aydın sorununa farklı bir açıdan bakmayı sağlamaktadır. Teknik özellikler kadar, dilsel kullanım ve tiyatro geleneklerinden yararlanılan bu iki perdelik oyunda, birey olma olgusunun yanlış anlaşıldığına, sorumluluklardan kaçış olarak algılandığına tanık oluyoruz.
