The Gulistan Tercumesi (Gulistan bi’t-turki) written by Sayf-i Sarayi at the beginning ofthe 14th century is one of the most important literary monuments belonging to Old KipchakLanguage. The lexicological comparison between this text, which represents the central literarylanguage of the Golden Horde Empire, and modern Kipchak written languages, results inremarkable outcomes. Delimited by verbs, the lexicon of Gulistan Tercumesi has been comparedwith the lexicons of the three members of the Present Kipchak Languages, Karachay-Balkar,Bashkir and Tatar. In this study, the verbs of the Gulistan Tercumesi and the three presentKipchak written languages have been compared thru Russian equivalents to follow semanticdetails according to specific criterions; the outcomes have been obtained.
