TANZİMAT DÖNEMİ TÜRK ROMANLARINDA ALAFRANGALAŞMAK

Abstract

Movement in the western states of the Ottoman Tanzimat period will reach a significantsize. Especially Istanbul, is the center of this movement. Almost all of Europe in the 19thoriginate century thought and experience of the Turkish community in the form of significantchanges occur. The Ottoman government of the period such changes are reflected in the novel.The author examines the theme of the West are particularly wrong. For this, it is also on certaintypes of novels. Tanzimat period that has become almost a fashion “Alafranga grow”, isdelivered to readers through the novel from different angles. About this summer, how much andhow Alafranga activity reflected Tanzimat novels will try to be expressed.

Özet

Osmanlı devletinde Batılılaşma hareketleri Tanzimat döneminde önemli boyutlara ulaşır.Özellikle İstanbul, bu hareketin merkezi olur. Avrupa’nın hemen her konuda örnek alındığı 19.yüzyılda Türk toplumunun düşünce ve yaşama biçiminde önemli değişiklikler meydana gelir.Osmanlı devletindeki bu değişim dönemin romanlarına da yansır. Yazarlar özellikle yanlış Batılılaşma temasını ele alırlar. Bunun için de romanlarını belirli tipler üzerine kurarlar.Tanzimat döneminde adeta bir moda haline gelen “Alafrangalaşmak”, değişik açılardan romanaracılığıyla okura iletilir. Bu yazımızda, alafrangalaşmanın Tanzimat romanlarına ne ölçüde venasıl yansıdığını ifade etmeye çalışacağız.
