Seroprevalanse of toksoplasmosis in flocks that have aborted sheep in Hatay province

Abstract
This study was carried out to detect the seroprevalence of toxoplasmosis by Indirect fluorescein (I FA) antibody test in flocks that have aborted sheep in Hatay province. Serum samples were taken from 180 ewes between april and June in 2001, and tested presence of anti-Toxoplasma gondii IgG antibodies by indirect immunofluorescent test (IFAT). Anti-Toxoplasma gondii IgG antibodies were detected at titreş s 1/64 in 53.33% of ewes.
Özet
Bu çalışma, Hatay yöresinde, 2001 yılının Nisan-Haziran ayları arasında önceki kuzulama mevsiminde atık şikayeti olan sürülere ait değişik yaş ve ırkta toplam 180 koyun üzerinde yapılmıştır. Hatay bölgesinde atık yapmış sürülere ait koyunlarda toksoplasmozun seroprevalansı indirekt fluoresan antikor (İFA) testi, ile %53.33 olarak bulunmuştur.
