Massive foreign body (fabric) obstruction of the digestive tract in a Rottweiler

Abstract
An 8-month old Rottweiler, brought to the clinic with a complaint of vomiting for 10 days, anorexia and lethargy, died the following day before surgery was carried out due to a severely bad general bodily condition. In the post-mortem examination it was seen that the whole digestive tract was filled with strips of material and fabric, that in the small intestines necrosis and invagination had occured in places and that the cause of death was autointoxication.
Özet
On günden beri kusma, iştahsızlık ve durgunluk şikayeti ile kliniğe getirilen 8 aylık erkek bir Rottweiler köpek, genel durumunun ileri derecede bozukluğu nedeniyle operatif sağaltım öncesi ölmüştür. Yapılan otopside tüm sindirim kanalının bez ve kumaş parçalarıyla dolu olduğu, ince bağırsaklarda yer, yer invaginasyon ve nekroz odakları geliştiği ve ölüm nedeninin otointoksikasyon olduğu rapor edilmiştir.
