Urachal cancer treated with partial cystectomy: A case report and review of the literature

Abstract
Introduction: Cancer of the urachus is a rare malignity. At present there is not any standard treatment consensus for the disease. In the past radical cystectomy was the standard treatment for all patients with urachal cancer, whereas in the past few years in selected cases extended partial cystectomy has become the preferred treatment modality. Here we report a case of urachal cancer that underwent to partial cystectomy.
Özet
Urakus kanserleri ender görülen malin tümörlerdir. Günümüzde urakus kanserlerinin standart tedavisi konusunda fikir birliği yoktur. Önceki yıllarda tüm urakus kanserli hastalarda radikal sistektomi standart tedavi iken son yıllarda seçilmiş olgularda genişletilmiş parsiyel sistektomi ile tedavi önerilmektedir. Biz parsiyel sistektomi uyguladığımız urakus kanserli bir olguyu sunduk.
