Abstract
In this paper, we prove some fixed point theorems for generalized (ψ, ϕ)weak contractive mappings in a metric space. Our result generalized and extend recentresults of Singh et al.[16, Theorem 2.1], Dori´c [7, Theorem 2.1], Rhoades [15, Theorem1] and Dutta and Choudhary [9, Theorem 2.1].
