Abstract
General Aspect of The Plant Available Zinc Status of The Soils in The Bursa Province For this research 40 soil samples were collected to represent the soils of the Bursa Province which were analysed for Zn using by 0.005 MDTP'A+0.01 M $CaCl_2$ + 0.1 M TEA (pH=7.3) extraction method and ob-tained supernatants by AAS technique. It was considerated that available zinc content of the soils lower than 0.5 ppm was zinc deficient which thought to be potentially deficient areas. According to this assesment, it was concluded that 37.50 % of the soils in the Bursa province are deficient in zinc content. The zinc deficiency has mostly determined at Non Calcic Brown, Non Calcic Brown Forest, Rendzina and Red Brown Mediterranean great soil groups. Zinc deficiency has mostly seen on soils with pH higher than 8, $CaCO_3$ content range from 15 % to 25 %, organic matter content range from 1.0 % to 2.0 % and loamy textured soils of the Bursa Province.
