Propagation with Chipping Technique in Leucojum aestivum L.

Abstract
Chipping technique is a method for use to propagate bulb at high amounts. This method is used to propagategeophyte species that compose well basal plate such as Leucojum, Galanthus, Fritillaria, Narcissus,Chionodoxa, Nerine, Scilla, Sternbergia. This study aimed to obtain bulbil from Leucojum aestivum by chippingtechnique with application of different size divided bulbs and bulb sizes. As a result, application of dividing intofour pieces of large bulbs (11/12 cm) were found to be effective.
