Performance evaluation in turkish insurance sector with grey relationship analysis

Abstract
The aim of this study is to rank the financial performance of three leading companies operating in the insurance sector. For this purpose, Grey Relationship Analysis is used to measure performance by liquidity, financial leverage and profitability ratios of the companies. It is concluded that a firm which has high liquidity ratios may have high performance.
Özet
Bu çalışmanın amacı, sigorta sektöründe faaliyet gösteren üç şirketi finansal performanslarına göre sıralamaktır. Bu amaçla, gri ilişkisel Analiz yöntemi kullanılarak likidite, kaldıraç ve kârlılık oranları yardımıyla performans ölçümünde bulunulmuştur. Likidite oranları yüksek olan bir Ģirketin finansal performansının da yüksek olabileceği sonucuna varılmıĢtır.
