Suggestions Related to Ecotourısm for Amasra-Ahatlar Village

Abstract

In this study, the answer to the question "How can ecotourism be developed?” with the concept of sustainable development in the field without losing rural landscape identity has been sought in a case of a settlement which is selected as a study area, Ahatlar Village that is located in Amasra District of Bartın Province. This study involves four main stages as data collection, analysis, evaluation and results-suggestions. In the phase of evaluating the analysis results, main features of Ahatlar are found to be as follows: Ahatlar Nature Park, sightseeing points in Amasra scenery, wooden handicrafts / workshops and local bazaar products. As a result, in ecotourism studies in Ahatlar, ecotourism scenarios have been built in which each one is dominant in order to support the rural characteristics and develop the place in the region: "Amasra's Balcony", "Wooden Workshops", "Local Bazaar".

Özet

Bu çalışmada, araştırma alanı olarak seçilen Bartın İli’nin Amasra İlçesi’ne bağlı Ahatlar Yerleşimi’nde kırsal peyzaj kimliği kaybedilmeden alanda sürdürülebilir kalkınma anlayışıyla “Ekoturizm nasıl geliştirilebilir?” sorusuna yanıt aranmıştır. Çalışma; veri toplama, analiz, değerlendirme ve sonuç-öneriler olmak üzere 4 aşamada gerçekleştirilmiştir. Ahatlar’a ilişkin temel özelliklerin; Ahatlar Tabiat Parkı, Amasra manzarasına hâkim seyir noktaları, ahşap el sanatları/atölyeleri ve yöresel pazar ürünleri olduğu saptanmıştır. Sonuç olarak Ahatlar’da yapılan ekoturizm çalışmalarında kırsal özelliklerin desteklenerek yörenin yerinde kalkındırılması amacıyla her birinde bir özelliğin baskın olduğu ekoturizm senaryoları oluşturulmuştur: “Amasra’nın Balkonu”, “Ahşap Atölyeleri”, “Yöresel Pazar”.
