Laparoscopic excision of cornual pregnancy in which systemic methotraxate treatment failed

Abstract
Frequency of cornual pregnancies among ectopic implantations is relatively low. Early diagnosis and prompt treatment are crucial for not only survival, but also for preserving future reproductive potential. In this case report management of an IVF/ICSI cornual pregnancy with successful operative laparoscopy following failed systemic Methotrexate administration was described. Diagnostic approaches and treatment modalities for cornual pregnancy were discussed.
Özet
Kornual gebelik nadir görülen bir ektopik gebelik şeklidir. Erken tanı ve tedavi hastanın sağkalımı açısından önemli olduğu gibi fertilite potansiyelini de etkilemektedir. Bu olgu sunumunda IVF/ICSI sonrası saptanan kornual gebeliğin sistemik Metotreksat uygulanması sonrası tam yanıt alınamayıp, operatif laparoskopi ile tedavi edilmesi anlatılmıştır. Kornual gebeliğin tanı yöntemleri ve tedavi alternatifleri tartışılmıştır.
