Abstract

The superior cerebellar artery (SCA) shows the least frequent variation amongst the arteries in the posterior cerebral fossa according to its origin and localization. Bilateral duplications of SCA at the origin from the basillar artery was observed in 62 years old male cadaver during the routine dissections in the laboratory of Anatomy Department. Informations about these kind of variatons in this region may provide useful background knowledge prior to the neurosurgical operations and also for the evaluation of angiography

Anatomi Anabilim Dali rutin laboratuvar diseksiyonlari sirasinda 62 yasindaki erkek kadavrasinda ASC'nin a. basilaris'ten ayrilma noktasinda her iki tarafta dublikasyon gösterdigi tespit edildi.
