Comparison of the effect of salpingo-oopherectomy and detorsion of the lung in adnexial torsions

Adneksiyal torsiyonlarda salpingooferektomi ve detorsiyon uygulamasının akciğer üzerine etkilerinin karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Objective: The compare the effect of salpingo-oopherectomy and adnexial detorsion on the lungs of the rats which have experimentally twisted adnex. Material and Method: 28 wistar female rats randomly selected and divided into four groups. The group 1 is detorsioned and the group 2 has salpingo-oopherectomy 24 hours after adnexial torsion.The other group had laparatomy (group3) and the rest had only anesthesia. Twenthfour hours after the second procedure all the rats decapitatedand their lungs evaluated microscopically and macroscopically. Findings: The detorsioned group has more pathological microscopic and macroscopic changes meaningfully. Result: Detorsion procedure incrases the pathologic macroscopic and microscopic changes at the lung

Özet

Amaç: Deneysel olarak ratlarda olusturulan adneksiyal torsiyonlarin tedavisinde uygulanan salpingooferektomi ve adneksiyal detorsiyon yönteminin akcigerler üzerine etkilerinin arastirilmasi. Gereç ve Yöntem: Toplam 28 wistar tipi disi rat rasgele seçilerek olusturulan ve herbiri 7 rat içeren 4 gruba ayrildi. Adneksiyal torsiyon yapilan gruplardan birine 24 saat sonra salpingooferektomi (Grup I) digerine detorsiyon (Grup II) yapildi. Diger iki gruptan birinde sadece laparatomi (Grup III) yapilirken digerinde sadece anastezi yapildi (Grup IV). Ikinci islemden 24 saat sonra bütün ratlar dekapite edilerek akcigerleri makroskopik ve mikroskopik olarak degerlendirildi. Bulgular: Detorsiyon uygulanan grupta patolojik makroskobik ve mikroskobik bulgular diger gruplara göre anlamli olarak fazla bulundu. Sonuç: Detorsiyon prosedürünün akcigerde patolojik makroskobik ve mikroskobik bulgular üzerinde arttirici bir role sahip oldugu tespit edildi.
